Sikkim’s first-ever airport will be inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 24, 2018 at Pakyong. The development is a historic occasion for the entire northeast region of India. The airport is situated around 60 km from the Indo-China border and around 30km away from Sikkim’s capital city, Gangtok.
